Is it Monday yet??
Well, here we are again. Watching 'Are you Smarter than a 5th Grader?' by default. I detest re-runs. I rarely watch movies more than once; dealing with my kids and husband's preference for watching anything over and over again is...like nails on a chalkboard.
I have no desire to quote Fairly OddParents, or Jimmy Neutron, or even all of the Back to the Future trilogy. But, if its on, I usually end up saying the next line. And sighing.
This game show is sort of interesting, but I do prefer 'Deal or No Deal' simply for Howie Mandel. He is a marvelous host; excellent comedic timing.
And now, its 'Red Planet' on SciFi channel. Gah. Storm was asleep before 9pm tonight, on a night when no new episodes of my usual fix were on. Why me? Timing is everything, and everything sucks today!!!
can you hear me avoiding any of the actual stress-inducing topics? Like Krazee, and Buck's money issues (not with himself, just me) and the fact that I need a job, but I'm freaked out by the thought of looking for one, much less actually getting one because I'm afraid of failing, and that I still hate housework...and the list goes on.
Well, I think that I'm going to bed. Listening to one of the characters suffocate himself on Mars...only to find Mars has an atmosphere...isn't appealing at all.
I want...so many things, not all of them tangible, or even distinct. Which frustrates me to no end.
I'm off, to do expert level crosswords, and cheat check my answers frequently. Because I'm like that.
