Second one today?
I've been meaning to write about Storm playing t-ball. She, like most of her teammates, isn't really focused, heh. She is however quite enamoured of playing when she can get the ball. And she hits like nobody's business. Buck, fortunately, is into it, to the point that he's watching baseball on tv. In the over 13 years we've been together, this is the first time he's watched anything other than NASCAR, or the occasional hockey game.
For me though, the best part is the laughter. MINE!! No better money spent, for the sheer silliness! Hit the ball, run to third. Sit down on the infield, and pick flowers. Pass the runner ahead of you, cuz he's going way too slow. Ball near pitcher's mound? Pig pile!!!
I love watching them, and laughing. And, I've made some new acquaintances, as well as a possible new friend.
Buck also got his Father's Day present, early. He got a new bow, for target practice. And, he got the girls a beginner bow and arrow set. Tomorrow will be target building and then its off to the races. This should be good for some laughs, too!
Personally? All I want is a new pair of sneakers, and new flip-flops. Wish me luck!
