Beachy day
It was indeed a perfect day at the beach for me! Even without clouds, hee. Hampton Beach, New Hampshire is the one beach in New England I've found closest to being like a Great Lakes beach. I will have to remember that if I'm going for a day. I'd still rather vaca in Maine, but for a day trip, Hampton it is.
Sunny, windy and not too hot makes for a perfect day, as long as I have my hat, and umbrella and chair. A camera, a project or book, and some liquid and I'm set for a few hours. I managed not to get burned; just a little pink on the face from the reflection.
The kids had a blast. I should mention our party was 20+, eight adults, the rest kids ranging from late teens to 2 years. The older kids (Cloud was having a teen day, so not her....)were excellent about keeping an eye on the younger ones. Cloud wasn't totally anti-social, but darn close. I know her normal nature will re-assert itself eventually, but oy!!
I am tired, and sated from the mint chocolate chip ice cream so now I'm off to finish my Harrie Pottttter fan-fic and then bed.
