Hi! How the hell are you? Me? Good, busy with holiday stuff, working 25+ hours a week, kids, hubby...the usual. I'm finding that I have an issue with being in my 40's. Damn body is falling apart!!! Heel spur, treated with ibuprofen, is fine, but the tendon on the outside of your foot has tendonitis. I have a lovely new boot (air cast) for 2 weeks, and then if no progress...physical therapy. Oh well, I'll let you know after New Years!
Oh, and I did a big no-no. Yes, you can yell...if you know why you are yelling, and only then! hehe
I went off my anti-depressants cold turkey. It gives me the willies just typing that. Ran out of cash and drugs at the same time, and since Buck is unwilling to admit the existence of mental health issues, I was NOT asking, and so just stopped. It wasn't bad, just...well, ok have you ever had the 'bed spins' after a night of drinking? Imagine having the same feeling when you are vertical! Go ahead, I'll wait.
Yep, just like that. Freaky.
So, now, no more side effects and a much clearer brain. I didn't realize how fuzzy/zombie/grey things were until I'd been off them for a week. My temper is no easier to contain than before, and I tear up over sappy things again. I'm NOT sad and immobile anymore, and that is what the drugs were for. It took getting back to work for me to find out something was off, so I'm a very happy girl. And I'm sleeping MUCH MUCH better. Always a bonus.
Work is very good, thanks! Its fun, and social for me and I get paid. Go figure. Oh, and I get an employee discount in January...and then a bigger> discount in October, '08. Can't wait for that!
Ok, not much else...girls are doing well in school, the boy seems to be finding his footing as an adult. Buck is nuts busy, and they are into the new building.
And I think I need to sleep!!
