Home again home again, jiggety jig
Hey, I'm home. I'm still beat, it was 18 hours on the road, and three hours of sleep before working. The trip itself wasn't horrible, just long!! Too much wind, and in all the wrong direction for a lot of the trip.
What made it totally worth the aggro was getting to meet this lovely woman. I had such a good time, chatting away, and just about stuff. Her little one is so sweet! Makes me remember why I like little kids...and why I'm glad I'm done! smirking Cardio is just as nice and smart and fun as she seems in her diary.
Now, to address the issue of 'knowing' things about people before you meet them. We all know about the unwritten rules, or code, that bloggers generally follow. Don't cruise through someone's diary without saying hi (or do it surreptitiously{neener}); don't spam; don't lurk (or...if you must, try not to do it where you appear creepy)!! One rule, not often discussed just because of the nature of it, is you do NOT bring up the things most private to an individual. I would no more have someone's issues (good, bad or indifferent) front and center in my head when I meet them, than I would walk around with my panties showing (ok, it would be more scary than embarrassing, but you know what I mean). Dear...here I would normally put girl, and it would work, since you are who you are, but in this case, lady is the better title... lady, I liked what I did know of your surface life long before the rest was part of the picture, and that is what made me think that meeting would be a good idea.
That, and any Michichick(TM) is a chick worth meeting.

I really had a blast yesterday, we need to do it again!!
Ok, off to get organized for tomorrow...and sleep might be necessary. Although this floaty feeling isn't unpleasant!
