8:09 a.m. - 2007-04-02 First, I must say thank you to everyone who left me condolences. I appreciate it so very much, and if I didn't leave you a specific response, I'm so sorry. Time for an update!! Ok, the shop is gone, but not forgotten. The insurance company is stalling, trying to blame it on a stove(my in-law's sell pellet stoves) when the fire marshal and the men on the scene all agree it was a faulty ceiling fan. So, they all have to look at the damn husk until the insurance company gets its head out of its ass. However, they are back in business! The office is in my in-law's basement which is directly across the street from the shop. The shop's parking lot gets lots of turnarounds from all the looky-loo's. My MIL is much, much better, and the shell shocked look is gone until you see someone glance across the street. In Krazee news, I think she crossed a line I can't forgive. I won't go into details because its not just about me, but she did feel the need to tell Cloud, and her friend something that was not for public consumption. In the process, she freaked out both girls. I talked to Cloud and her relief was so palpable I could have cried. I would never, could never say something to my kids that would possibly freak them out like that, much less to someone else's kids! Buck got mad before this came out, and piled her stuff into our shed so we could have our house back. After I got the call from Miss Mouth regarding the fallout...he's pretty annoyed. And he'd agreed to go get the balance of her stuff from Miss Mouth's this evening. I don't know if I'd go. I may, just so no more crap falls. I am going to have to try and write a letter to her so I get all my frustrations, issues and anger out in one fell swoop. As well as in a coherent manner, heh. At the very least, a laundry list so I don't forget!! Speaking of laundry, and organization and whatnot...I need to tackle my upstairs this week. Storm's room is getting purged! My room simply needs to be emptied into the closet, but I can't do that until Buck gives the all clear. I need a bigger dresser, darn it. But then again, who doesn't?? OOOHHHH....new computer is up and running like a dream! I'm so happy! My games run so well, and now Halo has gotten me intrigued about Second Life. I downloaded the software, got my account set up and I'm on Help Island for the moment. You can do anything with a basic account except buy land, which costs $10 a month. Not in my price range yet, but after I'm well and truly hooked, I expect I'll be back to work, and I can pay for it then, hee. If we didn't have the new computer, SL would be impossible. Its pretty good for this, though; no freeze ups, no stumbles and editing and learning has been smooth. Good thing I didn't check this out any sooner!! I guess that is about it. Storm is home today, not feeling well, and I still have a bunch of errands to run. Should get in the shower and moving before the day runs away from me. Off to be the mom.
